Solving for improving maternal health justice and the rights of all people to experience wellbeing not only saves lives, reduces low-birth weight and pre-term birth, and improves the quality of life for people around the globe, the doula model of care can save billions of dollars in preventable health care spending.

Okkanti is a platform designed to empower and to serve those who are called to improve health equity and to build generational health. Bringing together industry experts and skilled healthcare professionals, we aim to ensure that doulas and families have a voice in their communities.

The idea for this community was born from the direct experiences of doulas, lactation consultants and postpartum care providers, and the belief that awareness, compassion and innovation is needed more than ever in the healthcare industry.

Your voice, your wisdom and your perspective will help build the foundation of our community. And we believe that our collective wisdom will create more equitable opportunities for parents, doulas and other healthcare workers to learn from each other and to build a diverse ecosystem—creating unstoppable momentum in our efforts to transform maternal and reproductive health.
